The
Multnomah Irish Setter Association, INC.
invites those interested in breeding, welfare, and developement of purebred
Irish Setters. Applicants must attend one meeting of the corporation
before joining and must be sponsored by a member in good standing. MISA offers
3 types of membership.
Purpose:
The object of MISA is to foster interest in and promote the improvement of
purebred Irish Setters; to promote sportsmanlike competition between owners,
breeders, exhibitors, and other interested in the breed; to educate our
members and the public concerning these dogs-their standards, training,
breeding, care, exhibition, and field performance; and to create and
appreciation on the part of our membership and the public for warm friendship
and the finest sportsmanship.
Club
Activities: General meetings in January and every other month
thereafter at varying locations; Monthly board meetings; January Specialty
Show; Annual Award Banquet; Annual Hunt Test; July Specialty Show; Annual
Field Trial; Annual Meeting with election of new officers and board; Annual
Holiday Party.
