In the Spring of 1967 several NW Irish Setter owners got together and decided to form a regional Breed club .The Multnomah Irish Setter Association (MISA) was formed to promote the Purebred Irish Setter Breed while encouraging sportsmenlike competition
between the setter owners,
In the Past 42 years the club has participated in Irish Setter Rescue, AKC Sanctioned Shows, Hunt Tests, and Field Trials. In addtion, we are actively involved in Local Community events while promoting responsible ownership of Irish Setters.
